Founder & Partner at ARC Advocates & Solicitors, Kolkata. My practice is focused on commercial litigation, arbitration, corporate advisory, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution, with particular emphasis on assisting businesses, promoters, and institutions in navigating complex legal and commercial challenges. A graduate of the University of Calcutta, I further pursued a Master’s in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU). Over the years, I have worked across diverse areas of business law, advising on commercial disputes, contractual and corporate matters, writ proceedings, compliance, arbitration, and strategic legal risk management. At ARC Advocates & Solicitors, we aim to function not merely as external counsel, but as long-term legal partners to businesses — providing commercially sound, practical, and solution-oriented legal support aligned with institutional and business objectives. I hold the view that effective legal representation extends beyond courtroom advocacy. In an increasingly complex commercial environment, businesses require legal advisors capable of anticipating risk, protecting commercial interests, and facilitating efficient dispute resolution mechanisms, particularly through arbitration and mediation. In addition to my professional practice, I presently serve as the Chairman of Tiaga Institute Global Federation, where I remain associated with initiatives focused on practical legal education and professional development. I regularly engage with issues relating to arbitration, commercial law, and the evolving legal landscape impacting businesses and enterprises in India.
